Substitute Library Assistant, Boyden Library, Foxborough (Foxborough)
The Boyden Library, Town of Foxborough, is seeking applicants for the position of Substitute Library Assistant. The Substitute Library Assistant does not have a set schedule and provides fill-in coverage for regular staff on an as-needed basis.
Essential Functions:
- Performs circulation desk duties at either Adult or Children’s Circulation Desks
- Answers telephone, checks materials in and out, issues library cards, processes patron reserve requests, and provides basic library information
- Standing, lifting, bending, and stretching to retrieve or reshelve library materials
- Performs other related duties as needed
Qualifications
Recommended Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, minimum
- Must have previous library experience and/or experience working with the public
Supplemental Information:
-May be called to work during day, evening, and/or weekend hours. No benefits.
